This is the perfect place for people who want the atmosphere and environment of the detached La Casita villas, but with the opportunity to meet other guests. Here you can have a great holiday for a small price and... you can cook yourself, but you don't have to!
Rest and a personal appraoch
La Granja de Antonio is a small-scale holiday resort with only 10 holiday acccommodations.
La Granja de Antonio is built like a typically southern Spanish farm with its whitewashed walls.
Here everything is serene and the Andalucian rural life is unchanged. Sunny days, bright nights and magnificent views of the countryside dominate the atmosphere. It is a small paradise at only 30 minutes from the airport of Malaga!
The managers speak English, so communication is no problem. They are very enthusiastic people and nothing is too much trouble for them.
Heated swimming pool
There is plenty of space for all guests in the heated swimming pool, the sunbathing area or in the elegant lounge garden. The pool is heated from 1 November till 1 May so that guests can swim all year round.
Own restaurant in the grounds of La Granja
La Granja de Antonio has its own, small-scale restaurant, where you can have a lovely dinner for two and not have to drive home afterwards. If you want to have an early dinner, that's no problem here.
Flamenco show at La Casita: as Spanish as you can get!
Especially for the guestsof La Casita there is an authentic Andalucian flamenco show one evening per week during the period from 1 May till 1 November. You can book tickets for this with your holiday reservation. Lots of special evenings are organised at La Granja de Antonio with for example lovely tapas, paella or Spanish barbeque.
Centrally situated, perfect base for exploring Andalucia
The farm La Granja de Antonio is situated at a 30 minutes drive from the airport of Malaga and the beach of Costa del Sol. The situation is ideal: near several challenging golf courses and at 10 minutes driving from the village of Alhaurin el Grande with its terraces, shops and squares. You will not find a better starting point for daytrips. Before you know it you will find yourself in Sevilla, in the Alhambra or on the famous bridge of the mountain village of Ronda , with the oldest arena of Spain !
Perfect for two
This accomodation has a bed-sitter with double bed, separate bathroom with bath, toilet, air conditioning, satellite TV, kitchenette and patio with garden furniture. The apartment is decorated in Andalucian style and fully furnished. A cot is available at request. The surface area of the accommodation is 22 m2.
In the common space at the restaurant there is satellite TV, lots of books and local tourist information. There are washing machines and dryers for common use free of charge. The comfortable lounge chairs in the restaurant and the lounge garden are available to all guests.
It is possible that there are small differences between accommodations of the same type.
Lounge garden
La Granja de Antonio has its own restaurant, swimming pool and large elegant lounge garden. Here you can enjoy a glass of cool wine at the hottest period of the day or you can stay here till well after midnight chatting with others about your active day. Still some energy left? Then you can
play lawn bowling, basketball, tabletennis, badminton or volleyball with other guests. This garden offers everything you need!
Low-budget outings
Here you can enjoy the atmosphere and all the sights of Southern Spain for a small price.
Families staying at La Granja that feel they need a bit more space can also rent this studio. If you wish you can use the restaurant.
Own restaurant
The staff of the restaurant is very friendly and helpful. They prepare lovely dishes for you: tapas, paella, barbeque and lots of Spanish specialties.
Spanish cuisine is healthy and versatile, as you can find out in this restaurant. You can taste Andalucia in the many different dishes served here, because of the use of local and seasonal products: spices imported by the Moors many centuries ago, fresh Mediteranean fish, sun-ripened vegetables and fruit from the fertile Guadalhorce Valley and naturally matured Jamon from the Sierra Nevada.
